This is not a blog site about Rhinos. But it is written by a Rhinoceros (the play by Ionesco) lover. More on what and why along with the fuller view of me and my meandering thoughts will develop as I fill in the blanks with upcoming blogs. My goal to start will be to post new writings at least twice a month. The existential play Rhinoceros by Ionesco is a central plot point in my life and some of my early blogs will be on that subject. For now, on my homepage I will start with the end line of the play: “I’m not capitulating!” The main character, Berenger, starts out complacent and self-centered but ends the play refusing to conform and become a rhino, even though everyone else has conformed to being one.
